Neuwirth JSA strikes again!
Finally, we got to meet the Mayor of Los Angeles. And, yes he certainly perked up only mentioned we were from JSA, relating to us that he too was from JSA. Actually, we got to go door to door for him promoting his increase the minimum wage campaign. We also got to promote our program of our Great Streets Initiative (mirroring his Great Streets Initiative). He said he would love to come to speak at our school.
As a big bonus, we also got to meet State Senator Holly Mitchell and Assembly Member Reginald Jones-Sawyer, Sr. Both who showed interest in coming to speak at our school during one of our town hall meetings.
Time to set up those speakers!
