Congratulations to Skarlette Castejon, Class of 2019 Senior recipient of the Gayle Miller Leaders of Change $25,000 Scholarship awarded to the top 5 seniors across all Alliance College-Ready Public Schools! Skarlette will be attending UCLA in the Fall! Here what she has to say about her aspirations for the future:
“I am interested in the interaction between cultural issues, law, and institutionalized oppression, especially in the United States. A college education will help me become a better leader for my community and others like it.
